Breaking News!!!

In an unprecedented, game-changing paradigm-shift, Steven Moffat has cast a young white woman as the Doctor's new companion.

Apparently she's been in soaps and has been voted sexy by the kinds of people who vote in polls about who they fancy on TV.

I didn't bother looking for a picture of her.  If you want to know what she looks like, here's the first image that came up when I googled "actress".

It'll be near enough, I expect.

  1. She looks drunk... which is also pretty accurate, I suspect :-D

  5. Well, it certainly is a refreshing break from previous companions. She's neither a married couple, a 30-something woman, her grandfather, a young black woman, an Australian former pop star, an omnisexual prettyboy, a blonde former pop star, her Asian boyfriend, nor her stout middle-aged mum. Going back to 'generic young white female' seems to be quite a game-changing paradigm shift indeed given the relative range of ages, genders, sexualities and races seen in traveling with the Doctor the new series. Do they dare give her glass ankles? How refreshing! We haven't seen that in the series since, oh, I dunno, Adric.
